Hey there! Welcome to the official website for The Lake News Magazine. We are a student-led magazine for Standley Lake High School. Here at The Lake, we strive to create an entertaining and informative magazine for students, staff and the SLHS community.
About The Lake
The Lake is a student-led magazine ran by our two Editors-In-Cheif, Kiana Miska '22 and Kaylynn Tran '22. We have four outstanding editors, Alyssa Romero '22, Bridget Ronning '22, Bella Tucker-Sandoval '23 and Stella Abernethy '24. The rest of The Lake includes our amazing staff!
The Lake is determined to create the best magazine for our readers! We work very hard on our writing, photography and graphic design skills. It is our goal to make both an informational and engaging newspaper to keep our readers hooked! We work hard to create both an online and hardcopy magazine.
